# Comic Script

Planning comic pages from a story and Character references.

**Use it for:** Writing a comic as pages with character and story context.

**What it can do:** Continue the story page by page, review page outputs and
supply context to each page's image branch.

**Inputs:** Connected Text, your local story prompt and accessible Character
references. Notes for the next page can suggest a plot turn or detail.

**Outputs:** Named page/chapter outputs through [Comic Page cards](/docs/canvas/comic-page).

**Try it:** Open an existing Comic Script, review the story and connected
Characters, add notes for the next page, then choose **Write next page** when
you are ready to use the text allowance. Review the page text before rendering it.

**Remember:** Comic Script is separate from [Script](/docs/canvas/script), the
shot-preparation tool. Existing multi-page outputs may ask you to convert them
to one page each before continuing.
