Connections

Pass text, images, video or audio between compatible nodes.

What they do: Pass text, images, video or audio between compatible nodes.

  • The left handle receives an input; the right handle supplies an output.
  • Drag an output to an existing node to reuse it there.
  • Drag an output onto empty canvas to open Use this output, then choose a compatible node to create a connected branch.
  • One output can feed several nodes. Moving a node changes its position, not the content passed through its connections.
  • Several text inputs combine in saved connection order, separated by blank lines. A generator's own prompt is appended after connected text.
  • Type @ in a prompt and choose a compatible reference to name it and connect it. Clicking the resulting tag takes you to the source node.
  • Removing a tag removes a connection made by that tag. A connection you drew manually can remain and must be removed separately.

Media support depends on the destination. A model may accept a start image, several image references, audio references, or video references; check its controls and limits. Connections cannot loop back into their own dependencies.
