Video Upscale
Create a higher-resolution version of one finished video.
Read as Markdown ↗Use it for: Increasing the resolution of a short finished video before downloading it or using it in another workflow.
What it can do: Process the whole video at 1080p, 2K, or 4K. It does not trim the source or offer a separate frame-rate setting.
Inputs: Exactly one ready, owned video with a duration greater than zero and strictly below 30 seconds. A 30-second video is too long. Connect a video asset, finished Video, extracted segment, exported Merge Video result, or finished Video Upscale.
Output: One upscaled video. Wait for processing to finish before using the result downstream.
Set it up
- Open Add node → Tools → Video Upscale.
- Connect a ready video's output to Video Upscale's input.
- Select the node and choose 1080p, 2K, or 4K.
- Review the displayed total Gems. The price depends on resolution and source duration; fractional seconds round up to the next billed second.
- Choose Generate when ready, then play and inspect the finished video.
Connecting a source and choosing resolution do not start generation. You can prepare the workflow first.
Reuse the result
The output is video media. Use it in a compatible video-reference workflow or as a source for Smart Extractor or Merge Video. A Storyboard is a sequence of shots; export it through Merge Video before upscaling that concrete video. Motion Video must have a finished exported video available as media before it can be used here.
If the action is unavailable
Finish the source first, connect exactly one video, and check its duration. Images, audio and text are not valid inputs. If the source duration is still being checked, wait for that check to finish.
